Down it Goes

We were staying at Tan-Tar-a Resort when the incident happened.
It was June 2007, when we were on a speedboat. It was a nice warm sunny day, where the sun was shining down on us while we where in our swimsuits. When all the sudden the sky turned gray and it became breezy. Then we noticed a mysterious dock building boat in front of us. We knew there something wrong with it when we saw it.
There where 4 questions running through my head. What is wrong with the boat? How and when did the clouds arrive? Where in the world did the sun go? What is happening to the boat now?
Now the boat was at an angle, and we were all staring in shock.
‘’Mom, what is happening to that boat?’’ I questioned my mom in a worried/panicked tone.
‘’No, clue,’’ said my mom with clenched teeth.
At that very same second the boat turned vertical and vanished beneath the water, into the pitch-black depths of the lake. We were so scared we didn’t know what to think.
‘’What is that orange thing bobbing up and down?’’ I asked.
‘’Ya, what is that?’’ my sister Macy wondered.
We quickly discovered that it was a life jacket and that someone was linked to it.
‘’Sir, do you want us to call for help?’’ inquired my mom.
‘’ No!!! Call my insurance agent,’’ barked the man.
‘’OK, Sir,’’ and so my mom did, but first she called the resort we were staying at for help. She didn’t want to leave him stranded in the middle of the lake without help. It wasn’t even 2 minutes before help came.
We left him with help. Knowing he was in safe hands.
We got back to the dock and got out of the boat. Each one of us got off the boat with a look of amazement on our faces.
That was the day I saw a boat sink!
